Ouarzazate Desert Tour To Merzouga Via dades Gorges itinerary

Day 1 : Ouarzazate | Skoura palm grove | Rose valley | Dades valley :

  • Picked up from your accommodation in Ouarzazate.
  • Departure to Skoura, you will pass through the middle of the palm grove.
  • Then we will take you to Kelaat M’gouna, the region is known for the Festival of roses. There are factories for the distillery of roses: production of rose water, essential oils, and cosmetic products. We can visit a factory if you want.
  • We head to the rose valley. Enjoy a wonderful walk, for 1 to 2 hours, in the valley of roses between fields and through typical Berber villages.
  • A riverside picnic. Then through a track, we’ll reach the Dades Valley.
  • As soon as we arrive in the Dades valley, and if you are interested, we can go for a walk in a beautiful gorge (it takes 2 hours of walking).
  • Dinner and overnight in a hostel in Dades valley.

 

Day 2: Dades valley | Todgha gorges | Erfoud | Merzouga :

  • After breakfast, departure for another tour adventure in south Morocco.
  • Heading to Todgha Gorge with famous palm grove and amazing landscapes.
  • Have lunch in a local restaurant before our arrival in Erfoud.
  • Then direction to Merzouga Sahara desert.

Day 3: Merzouga desert | Nkob | Draa valley | Ouarzazate :

  • Leave the Merzouga desert and drive back to Draa valley passing by Rissani, Alnif, and Tazzarine.

  • In the afternoon, we continue towards Agdez, then reach Ouarzazate by crossing the Anti-atlas mountains (Tizi-n-Tinififite at 1660 m).
